The stockings were hung on fake garland-lined walls...

We have officially begun the Christmas season. We decorated the house a few days ago because I will be on call on Saturday and with Molly's blood pressure problems we never know if she may go to the doctor and be induced. Christmas seems really early this year. The girls are uber-excited and I thought several times during the hanging of ornaments they were going to spontaneously combust.

Go Team Halloween!

Not the best picture in the world but at least the girls are cute. And if you'll notice, yes that is my grandfather's University of Utah sweater. As to my costume I had an idea of what I wanted to be but I don't think I pulled it off. I'll ask everyone in a multiple choice way. What do you think I was trying to be?
a. A dork (even though I wouldn't need a costume for that)
b. A college nerd (again, no costume needed)
c. A member of the University of Utah Glee Club from the 1950's
d. Edwin H Bingham Jr (my grandfather)
e. None of the above, I didn't have any better ideas
f. All of the above
g. a and b only (SAT shout out)

If it helps, I pegged my pants and was wearing argyle socks with penny loafers. In retrospect it was actually a poor idea because we had our Trunk or Treat events outside and thanks to Florida weather it was about 90 degrees. As for the girls, Sadie was a devil and Ana was an angel. They were super cute and got so much candy, which I have already confiscated due to excessive findings of wrappers all over the house. I can hear my dad's voice when I say "If I find one more wrapper on the floor...". On Halloween day I was on call in the NICU and missed the kids walking around FishHawk getting even more candy. I'm glad we have cool friends. Hope your Halloween was spooktacular. That is all.
