That wonderful post-call feeling

I think my favorite part about being on call is working for 24 hours straight and then as a reward you get to work for 6 more hours. Then you get to drive home half asleep as the fog of excessive tiredness descends over your brain and the faint nausea comes helping to keep you awake. Awwww, medicine..

    And somehow you NEVER get used to it! I've had to pull over mult times and just sleep in my car on the side of the road for a couple hrs because I was waking up when driving -- which is always a bit alarming. At least next month should be semi-chill for you. --James
